Prophetic Word for the Eastern Cape
27 January 2026
Last night, I had a dream in which President Cyril Ramaphosa had deployed Israeli troops to the province of the Eastern Cape due to uprisings taking place in the region.
As I pondered the dream, I sensed in my spirit that the Lord is, in fact, deploying His angelic assistance. There is spiritual warfare currently taking place over the Eastern Cape. The uprising in the dream is symbolic of the enemy’s attempt to cause havoc and instability within the province.
The Lord wants to encourage the intercessors to continue pressing in and praying fervently for the Eastern Cape. He has deployed His troops, and the battle in the heavens will be victorious.
Israel speaks of God’s promises and the Promised Land, while the president represents authority.
Intercessors of the Eastern Cape, you have been given authority over this province. Engage in warfare in the heavens and continue to pray — the army has been deployed.
Amen!

A Call to Pray for Johannesburg
Last night I had a significant dream. I was inside a municipal building in Johannesburg when the roof suddenly began to collapse. The building became unsafe, and everyone had to evacuate immediately. There was panic, people were running, and there was a strong sense of urgency.
Once we were outside, the atmosphere was very sombre. In the dream, investigative journalist Govan Whittles (Carte Blanche) was addressing a group of municipal employees. He asked whether anyone had anything they needed to disclose—such as undisclosed side businesses or additional sources of income—and urged them that if there was anything hidden, now was the time to bring it into the light.
As I prayed about the dream, I felt it symbolized several things:
• A warning concerning the vulnerability of the City of Johannesburg and its local government.
• Hidden matters being brought into the light, with a call for integrity, accountability, and transparency.
• The seriousness of the challenges facing municipal governance and the potential impact on essential services for residents.
Recently, it was reported that the Finance Minister has withheld certain grant payments to 60 municipalities, including Johannesburg. Against that backdrop, this dream impressed upon me an even greater urgency to pray for our city. Let us pray for wisdom for our leaders, integrity within local government, protection over essential services, and God's mercy over Johannesburg. May the Lord expose what needs to be exposed, establish righteousness, and guide those entrusted with serving the people.
2 Chronicles 7:14–15 "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place."
